Stewart County football finds radio home

Tnsports360.com

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Stewart County has entered into an agreement with Consolidated Media making all of the Rebels football and basketball games available live during the 2019-20 school year on 105.1 The Wolf.

Stewart County fans will not miss a single play of Rebels football or basketball this year, with home and away games also streamed online at 1051thewolf.com and through The Wolf’s mobile app. Brian Milton and Brian Taylor will provide the play-by-play and color commentary. The ‘Brians,’ as they’re affectionately known, have been calling Stewart County games for the past few seasons.

Stewart County principal Dr. Ben Duncan and boys’ basketball coach Nick Wallace initiated conversations pertaining to this partnership.  The agreement between the school and Consolidated Media was granted final approval at a Stewart County Board of Education meeting.

It’s been nearly 30 years since Rebel football and basketball games were broadcast live on local radio, and 105.1 The Wolf is happy to be the station to carry the games. If you have questions about the Stewart County broadcast schedule or about becoming involved from a sponsorship standpoint, contact Consolidated Media’s Sports Director Justin Swallows at (931) 249-4900.
